Working With Firewalls
Most Personal Firewalls in the market today are able to allow the user to configure specific applications to bypass the firewall. In our case, the personal firewall must be configured to allow the following VMobility Client programs:

Certain firewalls may require the creation of a trusted zone for the VMobility Client Virtual Network range. If required, the trusted zone must be configured with the following IP Address range:
Some firewalls it may be necessary to configure an outbound port to allow our VMobility DNR protocol to access the Internet. If the port the DNR protocol is trying to access is blocked, you will get a Refresh failed error while joining the VMobility Network. The DNR protocol will attempt to use the following ports to make outbound connections: UDP 20202, TCP 443, TCP 80. The safest port to use is UDP port 20202.
